If you missed it, here's a little taster

I'm now busy with a cover design for Stylist Magazine, for a feature on turning your hobby into a business. It'll be released in January, make sure you get your copy!

Also keep your eyes peeled for January's edition of Cross Stitcher Magazine, with a similar article about how I've turned my hobby into a business.

The Patter Of Tiny Penguin Feet

We have some new additions to the Chloë Owens collection.

Two penguins, still yet to be named- Any ideas what they could be called?

Might also have to make them a couple of girlfriends...

✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

And a new doll

The doll is just a prototype at the moment, her dress and face will be different.

I absolutely adore scandinavian style fabrics and art, and for her dress, I've chosen a Michael Miller fabric- Apple Dot Green

But I'll show you the finished design as soon as she's done.

✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

Smug are now stocking their new *Exclusive* Lizzie owl, named after and by the owner, Lizzie Evans. You can find her at Smug, 13 Camden Passage, Islington, N1.

Make sure you grab one in time for christmas!

What have I been doing this week?

I've been very busy this week...

I finished a commissioned tiger cushion (sneaky peak)

✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

I sell my owls in a boutique called Smug http://www.ifeelsmug.com/, and they are commissioning me for an exclusive 'Lizzie' owl, here is an exclusive pic of the fabric we plan to use

✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

I've also been buying lots of other pretty fabric which I plan to make some cushions out of, so stay tuned for the designs.

✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

I found some beautiful buttons!

✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

Here is an example of one of the christmas cards I'm designing

✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

I have an intern starting next week, so I've been tidying my studio. It's normally very hectic, look how tidy my shelves are now ~ Wowee

✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧

I also met up with two lovely ladies from Truffle PR, who would like to represent me, and I have a meeting next week with Mothercare.

Jake takes over my studio

Jake is my cat, he enjoys laying exactly where I'm trying to work, rummaging through my fabric and finding sleeping places in my studio. He's not allowed, but does he listen?

Caught red handed. This was a toy rabbit

I was trying to make t-shirts

This is a commission I was working on for an interior decorator, it's a recreation of a Susan Burghart piece. The song was playing by chance.

I have recently finished a commission for a little girl, here's a sneaky peak
